Hillel Community Day School

  is an exceptional private Jewish day school that provides an enriching, nurturing and solid educational experience. Our curriculum, electives and After School activities are built on a strong foundation of Jewish values, beliefs and traditions. Hillel Community Day School is about teaching children self-respect, the value of helping others and importance of being a future leader in the Jewish community. It is important that our students understand the significance of their religious heritage by fostering a strong identity and pride in being Jewish. Our students achieve outstanding results on standardized tests including the NYS Regents exams. Our students are exposed to a hands-on Science program beginning in Kindergarten and continuing through 8th grade. Our elective programs include a dynamic Music, Art and Physical Education program as well as an integrated Computer Lab. We provide an After School program for our working parents with activities such as music, crafts and sports. The Varsity Basketball games are always entertaining and it is very common to see the entire school attend. In the 2005-06 school year, the Varsity Boys Basketball team was undefeated 10-0.
